Today Catie went on her first date, we will call him “R” for the sake of his dinigity. Although the date was suppose to be tomorrow, R just could not wait to meet Catie. We eagerily awaited his arrival, with Catie nervously laughing and folding blankets until he showed up. I watched them leave through the peep-hole and tracked her the whole time on the Find my Friends app.
From the mouth of Catie: “When I first got in the car, he could not stop talking. My first reaction was that he was really cute. Our first conversation was about how a girl died on the intersection we were at, UM CREEPY. He also said he saw some guy die on a waterfall, umm someone likes death too much. We were on our way to dinner when he veered off and started going the wrong way. I was freaking out. I was sure I was about to be kidnapped, but he just wanted to show me his new apartment.
When we finally got to the restaurant, the first thing he notices is his ex-girlfriend’s friends sitting at a nearby table. The date was about thirty minutes, and I talked for a grand total of five of them, he would not shut up. He even pulled out his phone and staring laughing without explanation about some text he got.
Although he had a beautiful face, and a sweater made out of “boyfriend material”, I am going to have to pass on this one… on to the next!”
